Venetian Plaster Entry

Found an interesting piece, a hand carved side table from Indonesia and used that as inspiration for an entry way. Experimented with blues and greens and some copper in the wall finish. The print was a gallery find weeks after I finished the walls – the colors are in the print are the same cool tones. The smaller picture is a photo of a cat gazing into a koi pond. Added a few framed pictures on the table, a runner made of shells and lamp. Placed a welcoming Buddha fountain in the center of the table to finish things off. Love the cool look of the wall, Compliments the slate floor.

Back from Louisville
